Summer School of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation
"HUMAN RIGHTS AND MODERN TECHNOLOGIES"
The fast growth and wide application in mass media provided the modern society with unlimited potential to access and use global information. The new era will not only lead to the changes in certain economy sectors, but will also serve as a basis for reconsidering human rights. The topic concerning human rights has great relevance to the matters of the adequacy and development of modern technologies. Along with the development of digital media and “virtual” skills of building “the information society” through the implementation of new technologies, institutes and procedures (aimed at securing legal supremacy and transparency of governmental and legislative activities) has been reconsidered.
Project mission:
- the extension and expansion of summer school participants knowledge in the field of jurisprudence, i.e. over the main legal issues of human rights development (national and international levels);

the acquisition and extension of Russian language skills, intensive communication with native speakers;

the examination of Moscow and Yaroslavl sights;
-
the fortification of partnership between Russian and other countries universities.
Dates: 18.08.2019 - 01.09.2019
Location: Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law, Moscow (Bolshoi Kharitonievsky Pereulok, 22-24; Bolshaya Cheremushkinskaya St., 34).
Targeted audience: students and post-graduate students, interested in modern legal issues and their solutions in the context of a large industrial developed state, activities of international and national institutes, human rights, civil law, basic principles of Russian legislation and issues of legal integration.
Our Summer school offers:
- Russian language lessons for two levels, 20 lessens per week (Monday-Friday);

The examination of modern urban culture;

Interactive instructions upon hey issues of human rights and digital legislation;
-
Wide excursion activities;
-
An excursion to Yaroslavl (August 24-25, 2019);

The provision of all necessary study materials.

Working language: English.
Accommodation: for students will be arranged a dormitory accommodation, breakfast and lunch are included.
Results: Training certificate / diploma (in English)
